Meet Our Team

Small but Committed to Creating Safe Spaces.

A Team Committed to Creating Safe Spaces

Every day, our team walks alongside survivors with compassion, professionalism, and hope.

While we intentionally protect the privacy of many of our staff, advocates, and volunteers for safety reasons, please know that every member of The Hiding Place is committed to providing trauma-informed, survivor-centered care.

Our mission is larger than any one individual—it is a community of people working together to ensure no survivor has to face abuse alone.

Why We Protect Our Team's Privacy

Because we serve survivors of domestic violence, many of our advocates and team members work directly with individuals experiencing high-risk situations.

While you may not see a clear face or full names on our website, please know there is a compassionate team standing behind every phone call, safety plan, support group, and survivor served.

Safety isn't just something we provide—it's something we practice.

Co-Founders and Co-Executive Directors

The Hiding Place is led by two women whose hearts are deeply rooted in serving survivors.

What began as a vision to fill the gaps in services for those escaping abuse has grown into a mission that reaches hundreds of women and children each year. Together, we oversee every aspect of the organization—from crisis response and advocacy to fundraising, housing development, education, community partnerships, and organizational leadership.

We believe that meaningful change doesn't happen because of one person—it happens when a community comes together around a shared purpose. Every survivor served is the result of countless people choosing to give their time, talents, resources, and hearts.

We are honored to lead this mission and humbled to serve alongside a community that believes healing is always possible.

We Couldn't Do This Alone

Behind every hotline call answered, every survivor supported, every apartment prepared, and every support group facilitated is a team who believe healing is possible.
