SUPPORT GROUPS
Healing after domestic violence can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to walk through it by yourself. At The Hiding Place, our trauma-informed support groups provide a safe, confidential, and welcoming space where survivors can connect with others who understand, find encouragement, and begin rebuilding their lives.
Whether you're just beginning your healing journey or have been walking it for years, there is a place for you here.
"Healing happens in community. Hope grows in connection."
You Don't Have to Heal Alone.

Is This Group Right for Me?
Our support groups are designed for adult survivors of domestic violence who are looking for encouragement, education, connection, and hope.
You do not have to share your story to participate.
You are welcome to:
Listen quietly.
Participate when you feel comfortable.
Ask questions.
Share as much—or as little—as you choose.
Healing looks different for everyone, and we honor each person's journey.
What Makes Our Groups Different?
Unlike many traditional support groups, our groups combine emotional support with practical education.
Every session includes trauma-informed psychoeducation, real-life tools, and opportunities to build healthy coping skills—not just discussion.
We believe survivors deserve more than someone to listen.
They deserve practical tools that help them move from surviving to thriving.
